This page explains how to delete your Aviatus account. Account deletion removes your ability to sign in to Aviatus on web and mobile. It is separate from deleting an organization and its projects.
1. How to request deletion
Email privacy@aviatus.app from the address associated with your Aviatus account, and include:
- the subject line Account deletion request;
- the email address on the account you want deleted; and
- a short confirmation that you want the account permanently deleted.
We may ask you to verify that you control the account before we process the request.
There is no in-app self-serve account delete button yet. Email is the supported path for store review and for all users.
2. What is deleted
When we complete an account deletion request, we remove or disable:
- your user account and sign-in credentials;
- profile details such as name, language, and theme preferences;
- notification preferences and registered push tokens;
- personal cloud connections (for example Box or Smartsheet OAuth tokens tied to your user); and
- organization membership and project membership rows for that user.
After deletion you will not be able to sign in with that account.
3. What may be retained
Project collaboration content is owned by the organization that hosts the project. Comments, OIL items, evidence metadata, activity history, and similar records you authored may remain in active projects so inspection history stays intact for the remaining team. Those records are no longer linked to a live login once the account is deleted.
We may also retain limited information when required by law, needed for security investigations, or necessary to resolve disputes.
4. Organization deletion
Deleting your user account does not delete an organization, its projects, OIL boards, evidence, or Records. Organization admins can start staged organization deletion from organization settings in the product. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for that flow.
If you are the only organization admin and want the organization removed as well, say so in your email so we can coordinate the correct sequence.
5. Timeline
We aim to complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days. If we need more information to verify the request, the clock starts after verification is complete.
